For Hands That Work, and Homes That Hold Light
At The Liminal Acre, we make soaps and candles the slow, sustainable way—by hand, in small batches, using what the land gives.
Our bar soaps are made with farm-rendered tallow, cut thick and cured slowly for a rich, long-lasting lather that leaves skin feeling clean but never stripped. We also make a liquid soap—from scratch, not a base—using the same whole, nourishing ingredients. It’s available in two options: a ready-to-use foaming hand soap in reusable dispensers, and a concentrated refill that customers can dilute at home. That means less waste, fewer shipments, and a more sustainable way to stay clean—without paying to ship water.
Our candles are poured with lard and beeswax—salvaged and repurposed from our own livestock—blended for a clean, slow burn that carries scent without overwhelm. No soy, no paraffin, no fluff. Just natural ingredients that would’ve otherwise gone to waste, turned into warmth, light, and intention.
Everything we make is a reflection of our land, our values, and our belief that the in-between—the messy, meaningful middle—is worth honoring.
